All birthday party packages include:

Animals in Action (up to 20 participants)

Package Price:  $275  (members price:  $247.50)

Children will start in the Celebration Room at the Visitor Center.  Then the children will take a tractor cart ride out to the 1900 Farm for an up-close visit with the farm animals!  They will discover the cows, sheep, and horses that live in the historic Carlson barn and the pigs and chickens in the barnyard.  Children will meet the 1900 farmer and have a chance to help with hands-on farm chores; specific activities will very based on time of day and season of the year.  Parties available May 1 – October 15, Saturdays 9:30-11:30 am or 2:00-4:00 pm, Sundays 2:00-4:00 pm.  Some blackout dates apply.

Play Ball (up to 25 participants)

Package Price:  $300  (members price:  $270)

Children will start in the Celebration Room at the Visitor Center.  Then at 2:00 pm, the children will get to watch a 1970s baseball game and meet members of the Walnut Hill Bluestockings Baseball team.  Partygoers will learn the rules of 1870s baseball and even get to try out the historic style bats and baseball.  Popcorn and old-fashioned sarsaparilla is provided at game time.  This package is available 1:30-3:30 pm, September 5, 19 and October 3rd.

On The Town Party (up to 20 participants)

Package Price:  $275  (members price:  $247.50)

Children will start in the Celebration Room at the Visitor Center.  Then children will visit select shops and tradesmen in the town of Walnut Hill for a hands-on look at a kid’s life in the past!  The town visit will include a stop at the print shop, with a chance to print a souvenir.  Then it’s on to the general store for a stick of penny candy!  The party will go up the hill to visit the school house for a fun lesson and then peek in at the blacksmith. The party will finish up with Victorian lawn games, before returning to the Celebration Room.  Parties available Saturdays 9:30-11:30 am and 2:00-4:00 pm and Sundays 2:00-4:00 pm.  Also available many weekdays 3:00-5:00 pm.  Please call for specific dates.
