| | Historic Dinners Information Our historic dinners are an experience to remember. To make your experience memorable, please note the following: • Both dinners, 1875 Tangen House and 1900 Farm Home, are $50/person. • Dinners last around three hours and one price includes all food and the entertainment. • All dinners are one price, regardless of the guest’s age. We discourage bringing very small children. If children under age 10 are part of your party, we require booking the entire table (10-12 people). • Reservations can be made for one to up to twelve people. All guests will be seated together and served family style to create a full table. • Ten people are a full table, but we will seat up to twelve in one party. Due to space constraints, we cannot seat more than twelve people per dinner. • The first party to make a reservation for a dinner picks the meat choice for the entire party! • Dress for the weather – layers are best. Casual dress is fine and comfortable shoes are a must. • Full payment is due at time of reservation. • Payment by check needs to be in office 2 weeks after reservation is made in order to hold reservation. • Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Check or Cash accepted. • Gift certificates are available. If you pay with a gift certificate, we must receive the physical gift certificate to confirm payment. • Cancellations occurring at least 14 days prior to the dinners date will be refunded, less a $5.00 per person administration fee. • No refund can be given for a cancellation less than 14 days prior to any dinner. • Cancellations by Living History Farms will be either rescheduled or refunded in full. • If a dinner takes place as scheduled, no refund will be given for your weather-related absence. • Alcohol Policy: Wine brought to the dinner will be served during the meal. One bottle of wine per two people is allowed. There is a corking fee of $10.00 per party. We also provide Iowa craft beer and wines to purchase at the dinner. Cash only, no bills over $20.00, please. We do not allow beer or liquor to be brought in. • Gratuity is not included and is always appreciated. Thank you!
